Amanda Cone

Trainer

DECADES AFTER AMANDA TOOK HOME THE BLUE AT THE 1987 NATIONAL HORSE SHOW, SHE immersed herself in studies of NATURAL HORSEMANSHIP Philosophies. SHE HAS SINCE CLINICED WITH BUCK BRANNAMAN AND OLYMPIC GOLD MEDALIST MELANIE SMITH TAYLOR, BOTH OF WHOM use execises on the ground and undersaddle to create a responsive partnership with the horse. EMPLOYING both methods, AMANDA BRIDGEs THE GAP BETWEEN NATURAL HORSEMANSHIP AND CLASSICAL HUNTER/ JUMPER TRAINING TECHNIQUES. “GOOD HORSEMANSHIP IS GOOD HORSEMANSHIP, REGARDLESS OF DISCIPLINE,” SHE SAYS.
