LEE and AMANDA, as well as their daughters Bailey and ARDEN HAVE TAKEN HORSES AND RIDERS TO SUCCESS ON A NATIONAL LEVEL. Through THE LATE 80S, AMANDA QUALIFIED FOR THE NATIONAL HORSE SHOW AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN AND CAME AWAY WITH WINS AND TOP RIBBONS.

SINCE THEN, the cones have BEEN A PART OF USEF YEAR-END HORSE OF THE YEAR Ribbons, USEF NATIONAL PONY FINALS TOP-TEN RIBBONS, SOUTH CAROLINA GOVERNOR’S CUP FINALS WINS, AND COUNTLESS SCHJA, BRHJA, AND PSJ YEAR-END CHAMPIONS.

ABOARD CATCH RIDES AND PONIES OF HER OWN making, ARDEN RODE WITH SUCCESS THROUGHOUT HER JUNIOR CAREER. SHE QUALIFIED FOR AND RIBBONED AT USEF PONY JUMPER FINALS, ENDING UP THE YEAR WITH a nationally ranked jumper pony. AS ONE OF 12 SELECTED FOR THE 2009 USHJA EMERGING ATHLETES PROGRAM’s NATIONAL TRAINING SESSION (Reno, NV), SHE COMPETED IN the NATION’S CUP FORMAT CLASS, riding a clean round for THE GOLD MEDAL WINNING TEAM.

THE SHOW ACCOLADES ARE MEANINGFUL, BUT PERHAPS THE MOST IMPORTANT RECOGNITION WE’VE GOTTEN HAS BEEN FOR SPORTSMANSHIP, HORSEMANSHIP, AND OVERALL CHARACTER.

LEE CONE HAS WON THE BRHJA TRAINER OF THE YEAR AWARD MULTIPLE TIMES THROUGHOUT HIS CAREER, AND HIS DAUGHTER ARDEN EARNED THE SCHJA SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD AS WELL AS BEING A THREE-TIME WINNER OF THE USEF EMERSON BURR HORSEMANSHIP AWARD.
